Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision medical components
Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, and other inspection tools
Verify parts meet blueprint, GD&T, and quality requirements
Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments
Conduct preventative machine maintenance and monitor coolant, lubrication, and machine condition
Complete first article inspections and in-process quality checks
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

CNC machining experience, preferably with Swiss CNC equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Understanding of precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Basic math and shop math skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Qualifications

Medical device manufacturing experience
Experience holding tight tolerances
GD&T knowledge
CNC setup experience
CNC programming experience
SPC experience
CNC machining degree or technical training
