Position Summary

The Accountant will perform variety of accounting responsibilities to support the financial functions of the company. This position will ensure accurate, timely, and valuable financial information is available to operate the business.

Qualifications

Essential Job Functions

Prepare metrics, financial and operational reporting, trend analysis, and process improvement support
Assist with month end closing procedures including journal entry preparation and review, balance sheet analysis and reconciliation, and monthly management reports preparation.
Assist the Tax Manager with various projects and tax filings
Support budgeting and forecasting processes within FCCS
Maintain necessary documentation and systems for property, plant, and equipment in order to provide accurate accounting for company assets
Assist with internal and external audit processes
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as outlined for financial review, weekly and monthly meetings
Protect assets by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls and company policies
Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
Support cross functional departments
Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
Participate in required company meetings
Maintain an organized work area (5S)
Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
Complete all other work duties as assigned
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl. KSA’s and certifications)

Bachelor's degree in accounting
Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term goals and objectives
Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Ability to prioritize and multitask

Desirable Criteria & Qualifications

Certificates in accounting disciplines
Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations

Physical & Environmental Demands

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

Pay Range

USD $55,300.00 - USD $82,900.00 /Yr.
